Hard to believe we’ve been here 1 week and 3 days already! While it feels like we are working hard from sunrise to sunset there isn’t much progress to show for it!! Luke got his tractor and has been trying to tame the overgrown weeds and bushes in the yard!
We were blessed to get our A/C replaced last Wednesday and we are enjoying the cool air….I have been working on the wall to Luke’s room in the basement and fixing up the bathroom downstairs. The wall is pretty much framed. Next is the drywall. No, I have never done drywall before but I’ve watched several YouTube videos …..how hard could it be!!! In the bathroom I leveled the floor with (what else but) self-leveling concrete). After laying a moisture barrier I will be ready to tile. Luke picked up big, black hexagon tiles for the floor. I also plan to paint the shower tiles black. The substance needed to prepare the surface for the paint is on backorder so I wait……
