Lots going on here. For a while it seemed like many projects were half finished. Some things still aren’t 100% complete but I feel we are getting closer!!
Yesterday the countertops were installed.
Other big news is the missing cabinet. I was missing a 42”x18” wall unit to the right of the stove. The cabinet company does not make that size in unfinished. Thanks to my dear and wonderful friends from Pittsburgh!! Steve and Lori came down for a weekend. Steve, a retired cabinet maker, made the cabinet..and it is perfect!! He also taught me so many woodworking tips and skills. Thank you Steve and Lori!!
The half bath/laundry room off the kitchen is also nearing completion. Luke and I decided on ‘dark and moody’ for the style. So far so good.
