Yesterday the sink and dishwasher were hooked up!! YAY! If I ever finish painting the upper cabinets and putting doors back on we’ll really be in good shape….But for now I am slowly putting the handles on and adding shelf paper so I can start putting dishes in each cabinet. (The hardest part is deciding what dishes to put where!)
They are kind of hard to see but these are the cabinet and drawer pulls we picked. They are thin brass/gold and fasten on the top of the cabinet door/drawer.
Half bath/laundry is close to being completely finished! But I am loving the color (SW Deep Wine) and the wallpaper. The wallpaper is going to extend to the ceiling and go the whole way around the room!!
Two projects I am beyond thrilled with how they turned out!! On the left I removed the doors that came with the cabinets and built (yes, me! I built them) 1 long door for more of a “pantry” look.
On the right is the finished island. I can’t get over how nice the pole wrap looks on the back and sides. (Another Pinterest idea..) So much nicer than just the smooth plywood that came with the cabinets.
It’s amazing to see the progress on your kitchen and half bath! The brass-gold cabinet pulls add such a elegant touch. The Deep Wine color and wallpaper combination is stunning, especially with it extending to the ceiling. The pantry-style door and pole wrap on the island are such creative ideas.
